(Türkçe için comment’e bkz.)

“Alchemy is the science of the given proportions and measures to all that implicates proportion and measure with the physical bodies and metaphysical concepts, in the sensible order and the intelligible order. It’s regal power lies in the transmutations, i want to say the changes of states that affects the ‘Unique Source’(al-‘ Ayn al-wahida). Alchemy is a natural, spiritual and divine science. We declare it a ‘divine’ Science, by the fact it provides the stable harmony, brings forth down divine revelations and the intimate bonding(solidarity between beings) and by the fact it unfolds the divine Names that affects the ‘ Unique Named’ (al-Mosamma al-Wahid), according the high diversity of their metaphysical concepts.”

Loosely translated from Stephane Ruspoli French translation of Ibn Arabi’s ‘Alchemy of the Perfect Happiness’ ( chapter 167 of the ‘Mecccan Revelations’ (Al Futuhat al Makkiyya) under the title:’ Of the Knowledge of the Alchemy of Happiness and its secret truths’.
