Yesterday we told you, that starting from today we will read and explore the book The Reality of Being – The Fourth Way together, taking off for a journey to our original blueprint. But today we feel like to complement the article of yesterday, especially the part of “the fuller birth version”. Why do we forget ourselves, our “inner-self”? Does it make any sense, that we are born with a full package, than forget all about our potentials, talents, etc. in order to remember it in this life? Yes, it makes sense – indeed!
Let’s have a look at an excerpt from the book (first one) Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch.
”The deepest secret is that life is not a process of discovery, but a process of creation. You are not discovering yourself, but creating yourself a new. Seek, therefore, not to find out Who You Are, seek to determine Who You Want To Be. […] Your job on Earth, therefore, is not to learn (because you already know), but to remember Who You Are. And to remember who everyone else is. […]
[…] But what is the point of it all? First you make us forget Who We Are, so that we can remember Who We Are?
Not quite. So that you can create Who You Are and What You Want To Be. This is the act of God, being God. It is Me being Me – through you!
This is the point of all life.
Through you, I experience being Who and What I Am. Without you, I could know it but not experience it. Knowing and experiencing are two different things. I’ll choose experiencing every time. […]”
Waouwww, that is so impressive – and now the idea about remembering the “fuller birth version” makes sense.
By the way, we will now correct one word in yesterday’s post: it should be “remember and re-create” insteed of “discover” (see 2nd paragraph). We think it is reasonable.
So while exploring the book about Gurdjieff’s path to ourselve, we will sometimes have complementary posts from other books/articles, etc. The aim is to show also other ideas or concepts and – furthermore – to point out, that there is a common vision about how “to be”.
We wish you a fantastic day – and be ready to take off for a journey to our inner-selfs soon!
