Man and woman are equal. Diverse capacities, but equivalent. Diverse duties. Education must be different, but harmonious. ‘Love is the only legitimate union’. Marriage must be the union of the hearts and of the aspirations. Goodness of union, between genders, individuals, groups, families, spiritual groups, races, etc…
One of the basic axiom of the Cosmic Philosophy states that man and woman are equal. In fact, in principle, the genders are worth each other, and if, some time, a man is worth less than a woman or a woman is worth less to a man, it is because there are different levels of humans more or less evolved, but it is not a question of gender.
Only, the genders don’t have the same capacities, and, though being different, don’t have the same duties.
The Cosmic Philosophy teaches than man represents spirit and woman substance, man represent strength and woman form, man represent activity and woman passivity (receptivity).
But all is in all, and this doesn’t mean that woman is only passive and man only active, etc.
Though, by its temperament, a woman has more affinity with form, with nature, beauty, formation, substance and passivity.
Passivity doesn’t mean inertia, far from that. And we act more and better in an appearing calmness than in an external and visible activity that carries less far. Woman, more than man, has in her interest to act likewise, in calm, order, in peace, in harmony, in softness. A hyperactive woman burns out, gets stressed, gets tired and gets unbalanced easier than man.
Man must reflect and manifest strength, action, balance, wisdom; his role is more like the helmsman of a boat holding the steering wheel firm in his hands, when woman’s role is more comparable to the work of the observer that studies the wind, the currents, the polar star and sentiating in calm, offers the bases of guidance.
Both roles are magnificent and complete themselves admirably. One is not above the other and both are indispensable to each other.
In our time, this equality and equivalent difference of the genders is misunderstood. Either we tend towards a gender dominating the other, or either we tend to identify and not respect in each of us these proper qualities.
We must understand that on the contrary, the genders are worth each other but that they are different and must stay different.
So, anyone should manifest and grow, in his/hers senses and his/hers nature the divine sparkle that is within him/her. The union of such individualities manifesting through their unique qualities the divine sparkle is the only one able to provide the best environment for the sustaining of such development and growth and attracts even greater possibilities and harmonies.
Woman, ‘light of beauty’ and man, ‘luminary of strength’, unite in love and seek without cease to evolve through each other!
As it is in the union of the genders, like in the union of beings, the union of races that lay great possibilities of progress.
And union can only exist through the pathotic strength, through the love of beings between themselves, each eager to open his/her self to the other and therefore understand each other, thus co-operating towards the same Ideal.
The desire of union lies deep in the heart of man but all evils come from division, hatred and the blind instinct of struggle and battle.
In proportion of every being’s sensibility lays his/her ability to suffer. In and through union, lies a strength that allows happiness and helps to better resist to life’s uneasiness.
Union takes a certain number of mutual sacrifices. We must seek a balance in being happy with being satisfied enough ourselves and at the same time giving to others the satisfaction they need.
‘Love others like yourself’, says Moses’ admirable commandment. This is the balanced base of all morals. It is not said to not love ourselves and to uselessly sacrifice ourselves to others. It would only produce suffering, lack of development, collective waste of strength and not progress because the divine sparkle lies in each of us and must there be blossomed.
But it is also said to love others as much as we love ourselves and to desire for him/her all the happiness, all the balance and all the blossoming possible.
To help someone, we need to actually love him.
It is advised to seek as journey companions the closest, those we naturally and nobly have the most affinities possible.
This is also why, regarding the union of man and woman, the Cosmic Philosophy says that: ‘Love is the only legitimate union.’
Man and woman who are marrying must love each other. If they marry for other reasons than love, their union is a lie and will not produce happiness because the pathotic strength is the only true strength and only the pathotic strength can blend to the point where ‘two are in one’, balancing harmoniously activity and passivity.
Union must not stay only individual; it must become collective and later universal.
Many feel the greatness of the Cosmic Balance. They will together seek to manifest it, always better in order, in discipline and in hierarchy. As without hierarchy, union cannot be or neither true order, because each being is different and each being needs to place him/herself at a specific level according to his/hers actual development.
They will form the acme of the true psycho-intellectuals, the living Temple of the Divine Formator, of which each stone is a strong individuality, but impersonal, and united by the cement of pathotism to the other living stones.
