As an introduction, we offer a few verses from
the Message Rediscovered (M+R):
‘Happiness is to gather together our desires
in the great light in order to stay free in God’.
‘He who is pure, luminous and living does not worry about it,
yet he illuminates in the thickness of the night.
‘To be and forget it’.’
‘The spirit of God by turning back on itself,
produces the light.’
If you wish to experience the Hidden Light and gain an awareness of the mysteries of the Torah that will ultimately be revealed, you should engage in much meditation directed towards God. Judge everything you do see if it is worthy and proper to act in such a manner before God who is constantly doing good for you. You thus sustain your words with judgement. You are bringing yourself to judgement, and you yourself are the judge of all your deeds.
Through this, you can rid yourself of all fears. You will not be afraid of any official, lord, wild beast, robber, or anything else in the world. Your only fear will be an awe to God.
You will then be able to elevate fear to its root, which is knowledge-understanding (Daath). You will be worthy of perfect knowledge, and thus know whom you must really fear. You realize that the only One you must fear is God, where your fear is a deep AWE of His Majesty.
Through this, you will be worthy of understanding the revealed, non-mystical elements of the Torah. You will also be worthy of true humility. You will then be able to pray with literal self-sacrifice, annulling everything physical and all ego during prayer, You will thus be able to pray without any intent of gain, and will not think of the self at all.
Through this, you will then be worthy of comprehending the mysteries of the Torah. You will thus experience the Hidden Light, that will be revealed in the Ultimate Future. All this is attained through meditation.
