‘Many men and women seek to free themselves from the yoke, the burden, of false values that constrict their daily life. They feel the necessity to transform their creative potential into real creation. That is to say, they wish to go through an initiation in order to find an internal harmony, that will, without fail, shine out. ‘If you want to rule the world, say the ancients, start by ruling yourself’.
In order to start living initiation, we have in front of our eyes the message of the symbols. You just need to go to a cathedral, for instance, and question her. Travels also allow to journey towards other expressions of initiation, and broaden our views.
Only lasts what is always changing. What stops, what is being crystalized, is bound to aging and to death. If we wish to live into this movement, it is up to us to take the initiation of the Work Master and make it our own initiation. As extraordinary it may seem, it is still possible today, within the conditions of our existence, to make our life a temple.
To enter the initiatic universe, it is to recognize our ignorance, but especially to desire to know. The initiates have always declared that only knowledge can help us reach here in this life, the ‘kingdom’, ‘the temple of life’, that is to say, the plenitude of the realized being. And they did not just say this, they have also testified, through their deeds and work, of this reality.
The initiatic symbols are not just for the exclusive use of the archeologists, the scholars and the esthetes, who, most of the time look at them with disregard and despise. It is the hand of the Work Master, of the initiate craftsmen, that brought them to life. It is the thought of the person that today seeks initiation that will be able to give birth to them again.’
